How To Change Imei On Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Today am going to be sharing a detailed guide on how to change imei on mediatek (MTK) devices running on Android version 6.0 marshmallow or above. I once posted a tutorial on how to change imei on mtk Android devices running on Android 4.4 Kitkat and also on lollipop but that might not work for marshmallow devices.
So if you have tried the method and it didn't work for you then this should. You can also try it on older Android versions. The method is very simple and all you have to do is to follow the guide below and you should be done in no time.
How To Change Imei On All Marshmallow Devices
==> First, download and install MTK engineer mode plus from this link.
==> Launch the app and click on phone information.

==> On the next screen, select either phone 1 or phone 2 depending on the sim you want to change the Imei.
==> Now just type "E" in the box and four drop down menu should appear.
==> Select AT+EGMR=1,7,"" for sim 1 andAT+EGMR=1,10,"" for sim 2.
==> Now type in the imei you want to use in-between the ("") and make sure there is a space between AT and +. For example,AT. +EGMR=1,7,"345678321897564.
==> Once you are done click on send At command and toggle your airplane mode.
==> If you followed the steps correctly then your imei should be changed now.
